More Freddy's Nightmares - Lucky Stiff & Dreams that Kill [20 Sep 2006|09:58am]

[ mood | curious ]

I know alot of people may be looking for these episodes, I have two more we have to sell.

1) Freddy's
Nightmares Lucky Stiff, featuring Freddy Krueger (as host) taking his cut of an unlucky woman's winning lottery ticket.

2) Freddy's Nightmares Dreams that Kill As a tabloid TV talk show host, Freddy takes his chance to really "trash TV."

All videos are in amazing condition great Hi-Fi sound, clear and perfect picture quality and are the official originals in original boxes, not bootlegs or copies, perfect for Halloween coming soon. And Freddy is scary and funny as always.

Horror RPG [15 Jul 2005|07:02am]

A new horror RPG has just started called _haunted_night and it's looking for people who are interested in playing some characters from NOES. They already have someone to play Freddy Kruger but there are still many other character positions open such as Nancy, Kristen, Alice, Glen, etc.

Or maybe you would be interested in playing a character from another horror movie ? Check out the available characters

Interested ? then head over to _haunted_night and check it out.

Also note, that while the game has started there is no deadline for applications, the mods will be accepting players thoughout the game.

Freddy Question I got for all you guys? [09 Jun 2005|11:27pm]

Lets say the parents did not burn him do you think he would still kill the children and do you think the cops will get him for good?

Okay IMO I believe he would still kill the children and later on when they get another charge against him they will sign the warent in the right place and he will probley go to jail or get life.

I am glad that the parents burn him though since we will not have ANOES if this happen

Seven Sweetest Dreams scans (Alice Johnson and Nancy Thompson related) [08 Jun 2005|08:53pm]

Seven Sweetest Dreams is a published anthology of Nightmare related stories, sort of like authorized fan fiction. one of the stories, "Dead Highways, Lost Roads," is centered around Alice and Jacob, several years after Dream Child. I've scanned it because I figured it might make interesting content for the Alice fanlisting I've made (it's here, if you're interested in joining). I thought I'd post it here first for anybody who's interested in reading it and to ask whether it's worth adding as content.

They were uploaded to freewebs, so you need to copy/paste the URL.

secondly, in "Asleep at the Wheel," Nancy -- or a manifestation of her (maybe like the girl in Lori's dream at the police station) appears. I've scanned the pages relating to her (I have one more page left to scan, which has the band who dreamed of her speculating about what she's trying to tell them, I'll try and get that posted soon.)

Nancy Thompson [22 May 2005|02:28am]

[ mood | curious ]

it's been sorta dull up in this place lately so i'm going to pose a question all the readers herein. one thing that i've noticed among many a hardcore Night On Elm Street fan is the concept that Nancy Thompson is still alive. to the uninitiated this could appear to be an odd subject. to the informed it could be a topic to brutally defend. i'll say no more on this for now but please speak up and let me and the other readers here know what your true stance on this idea is. so is Nancy still alive out there or is she resting peacefully in a Springwood grave somewhere ? ? ? simply for the sake of discussion i want to know what you people think about it.

Reality Sucks! [09 May 2005|12:48am]

[ mood | *shrug* ]

Well, it seems there’s no welcoming in Prime Time…

The Wake: What has happened with your reality show "Real Nightmares"?

Robert: Well, we actually shot six hours of it and a pilot. I spent all of last spring pitching it to all the networks. The problem was we went with CBS and every show they have is a hit, so they just didn’t have any room for it. They got their big reality hit with "Survivor" and every other show that they touch turns to gold. So, they didn’t really need it. We probably should have gone with another network. Several people liked our idea. I don’t think it’ll ever see the light of day, which is unfortunate. It’s interesting, even when I do a bad movie it eventually shows up on cable or HBO or the Sci-Fi Channel or your local video store. With the TV show, I was really proud of it and a lot of talented people worked on it. People who worked on "Survivor," "Big Brother," "The Amazing Race," people who had worked with Penn and Teller. It’s too bad that it’ll probably never see the light of day.

For the whole interview, which a friend or a friend sent to me, check out here.

What The . . . [26 Apr 2005|08:18pm]

so last week i watched the dreaded Amityville Horror remake with absolute terror. i was afraid that yet another one of my beloved horror masterpieces was going to be ruined with a sub-par re-do. well, not surprisingly i was right. it was a total piece of shit. short, boring, filled shitty CGI, bad acting, worse writing and a stupid looking house. what's my point you might be asking ? ? ? well, did anyone notice the scene where the daughter climbed up onto the roofand wanting to join her father in heaven? it sorta felt like a rip of the scene in Wes Cracen's New Nightmare with heather and dylan at the playground with John Saxon. what a piece of crap the new Amityville Horror is. don't watch it. save ninty minutes of your life and just watch New Nightmare again instead.

This community seems pretty active, and I was wondering
If the mod or anyone would like to start up some games or something.
I have a NOES group I created on Myspace, and there are over 100 members, but nobody participates. I was having Ideas like Quote contests(which movie the quote is from), or Caption contests, where you post pics
and people submit captions, stuff like that. The game I currently have running is a trivia game, where one person posts a question about any of the films, and the first person to answer right, askes a new question...and so on. I think it would be a cool way to get us all more involved.
If not, I may be thinking of making a community to do just that, and If anyone is interested In being a Mod, I will ask here first. But I figured I'd put the idea out there before I go through the hell of making another community :)

[16 Apr 2005|02:20pm]

okay so i'm sitting here watching Wes Cravens New Nightmare for the 102ed time (seriously, i've counted). there is something that has been bothering me FOREVER... okay the nurse that heather is talking to when she first has dylan checked into the hospital (not the black woman) she is the same woman that played nancy's teacher in the original NOES. now, since this is so, how is it possible for her and heather to not already know each other? i mean usually when you work on a big film like that with someone, you dont forget them. and why would she be a nurse? i dont know. it's just something that always bugged me. anyone else have any input on this?

Friday 12 Over Elm Street 9 ? ? ? [08 Mar 2005|10:37pm]

so it's well known by this point that plans for any kind of follow-up the Elm Street series are currently done and over with for the moment. it seems weird that a Freddy Vs. Jason 2 has never happened in the last 2 years or so. now i have to say that when i read the most current bit of news concerning horror at New Line Cinema i was appalled to say the least. it seems that Elm Street 9 is still a no-go, but instead New Line Cinema has now begun talks with cult film director Quentin Tarantino about writing and directing a possible Friday The 13th: Part 12 ! ! ! where in the world did THIS SHIT come from??? i'm all for continuing the that series too but come on. i've never made it a secret that i'm all for a new installment to each respective franchise but first off, New Line is "The house that Freddy built." that's been their nickname in hollywood for nearly that last two decades. why drop Elm Street, the jewel in their crown, in favor of perpetuating a series that was a mere acquisition? secondly, Quentin Tarantino for Friday 12? huh? what a career move THAT would be!!! this news item can be found here both here: http://fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=3669 and here: http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=3502&Template=newsfull . so what's the word? have any of you heard this bull? would you be in favor of a Friday 12 that's in the hands of a director that likes to rip off other better directors' better films? talk to me people.

The Truth Is Out There [06 Mar 2005|03:18am]

[ mood | aggravated ]

it seems that the whole story behind Freddy Vs. Jason 2 keeps changing all the time. one moment there are sources at New Line Cinema saying that the project is not/no longer in active development. then there seem to be people who claim to know secret rumblings concerning the future of the franchise like one that was recently touted over at this spot: http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=3474&Template=newsfull considering the fact that FVJ made some much damn money you'd think that New Line head robert shaye would have demanded that another film be put on the fast track, but no. it makes no sense. hollywood's supposed to be run by money-grubbing whores just dying for cash-cow movie series' like this one. it's obvious that the folks at new Line are idiots considering that we currently don't have anything to really look forward to in the near future. god damn retards that they are.

Is Anybody Still Listening ? ? ? [05 Mar 2005|06:08pm]

hey everyone! i know it's really been kinda dead up in this place lately so i thought i'd make an entry and see what's going on with everybody. i was screwing around earlier and found a link to a great Nightmare On Elm Street website: http://www.nightmareonelmstreet.de/ if you've never visited this place you should. it has some music videos from the films and even a bunch of deleted scenes to boot. there lots from Nightmare 1 but the real gems are all of the rare cut clips from The Dream Child and Freddy's Dead. the image quality on some of them is sorta bad but try to bare with it. i thought it was worth it. i will admit that, though, that i really didn't see any difference with The Dream Child scenes. they appear to be the same ones from the actual film if i'm not mistaken. oh well! enjoy 'em people. i did ! ! !
